hi,
i strongly advice you to stay in uk and complete your course instead of coming to india and studying/working..
it is a lot of settling, orientating and adjusting problems in india ,just for a period of one year.you may also not happy with pay and working atmosphere here.that is the reason i advised you to stay in uk and complete your certification course.

Friend, You are really in a very good position. Why are you coming to India? I would suggest you to look for a job there itself. There’s a vast difference between India & UK. You will earn 5+ times more in UK, then here in India.
As a marketing professional you can think of exporting either products or services from India to abroad.Rather than products in which there are many checks like limited buyers, competition from other firms in India and in other nations and choice of foreign buyers etc export of services from India especially health services like By-pass Surgery, kidney replacement, knee joint replacement is easy and viable. This is because the professional standard in India is as good as the best elsewhere; the cost of the service is much less compared to other nations; there as numerous hospitals in Idia in Idia delivering the services. The work culture in India in this line is excellent. The working hours in general is 8 hours a day. The pay package is rewarding and varies from hospital to hospital and can be satisfactory when you negotiate and it will be Rs.500/- to Rs.1000/- a day or more. You are to engage consultants or through job arranging websites for getting your assignment. There is usually no rigid dress code. Renting in accomodation as you desire is not difficult to get. You will have to engage estate consultants for this. There will be a short interview which can be done over telephone, internet. To be India fanatic especially for you is praiseworthy. There is more human sentiments in India which you will appreciate. Yes, you should come for your work experience in India and you can avail my help. Ranbir you are a wonderful guy and your interest is highly appreciable. The difference is only in climatic condition, food habit, temporament. In India people are God fearing, affectionate and helpful and many of them have time to help you. Thank You, Yours faithfully, Mr.Niranjan Prasad Mohanty,I.E.S(Retd) phone:+91-671-2621515/Cell:919438384225 Email:********@*****.*** or yahoo.co.in

hi, u can apply thru the site www.placementindia.com… working hours is mostly 8 hrs in almost all companies. there's no dress code for most of the companies except some banks and hotels.
u can easily get a single bed room flat for an year.the rental comes around Rs.6000/month. but as u r brought up in UK< the culture here wont suit u i think. in UK, people r always brisk which lags in india.the people in UK always make them busy by doing somethig like research oriented, but here in india, itz rarely seen. i think itz better for u to carry on ur placement with other countries and then have business relationships with india for which u've a very good opportunity. good luck.

India is a little more clustered, more traditional so you would have to be careful not to be offensive.India is full of tradition and culture and this culture also affect on their work style.
The people of India are very hard working and dedicated to their work. You have to work more than 8 hours a day, some Companies do work including weekends. The work culture over here has their own style with the Indian way of life while seeking to achieve the organizational objectives. The Structure and hierarchy in Indian companies you will find senior colleagues and especially elders are obeyed and respected and most senior person advice is always listen.
personally I suggest you to look for a job in UK itself.

The work culture in india is that the organisation wants to earn more money from through the employee more than 3 time what they pay to him. working hours for the full time will 8 hours. For the fresher you can expect 15000-20000 Rs in this recession period. dress code means you should be always in formal dress neatly i can't you arrange a room india is big there is no problem for accommodation. depends on the company if they want telephonic interview or video interview. mostly indian companies do telephonic interview definitely if you work in india you will get advantage as there will be appreciation for our work and working in a big market system you will gain some knowledgeable experience. mostly the difference in india and uk is that you will more valuable and responsible work in india and appreciation too .
