Hi Sushma, I don't whether the clothes cheaper in Hyderabad than Bangalore, but If go Madina(Charminar)there are many wholesale shops, but don't get trapped for the imitations. Take a good look and ask for quarter of the rate from what they says, it is always recommended. You can go for a little bit up, but don't make think that you like that Saree or salwar so much, if they get that idea they will never reduce it. Tell them u will take it if they are giving for the price u asked otherwise u don't want it, just get up from there. If it is worth the rate u asked they will stop u and give it to you. Dont fall for any tricks.
There are also some shop in Abids fixed rate shops. They also have reasonable prices.
For Pochampally there is a village with that name near by Secunderabad where the sarees are woven. The Bus number will be in 280s. I think I have just forgot the number. You will get it lot cheaper there. Otherwise you can go to the Kanchi saree house or any big shops in Koti, they are also not bad.
Salwars are cheaper in hyderabad when compared to bangalore. You can buy salwars both in Madina market near charminar and Koti for less rates. Madina market is nearby Laad bazaar and a wholesale market. So, definitely you can get a good deal.
Laad bazar is a very good places for pearls. You can get all types of accessories here. It's near charminar. Coming to sarees, you can get these in almost all shopping centers. But don't buy saries near charminar as the quality is not so good there. Koti is a good place for sarees also. There is one "Vasundara Silks" in Sivan Road, Opp. Bakers Q. This is a very good palce for all types of sarees with less prices and good quality.
You must give a try at the textile wholesalers in Chickpet and stores on the road parallel to Commercial streeet. You will be able to get sarees and dress material at wholesale prices.Chickpet area is really the best place.
Salwars are cheaper in Hyderabad than in Bangalore. So, you can buy salwars from Hyderabad. You can shop in shops in Charminar area in Hyderabad. There you would get alrge varieties in cheaper price as compared to other places in Hyderabad.
You can buy pochampally & venkatagiri sarees at reasoable rate from wholesalers. You can try following places:
POCHAMPALLY SILKS & SAREES New Marketing Complex, Tilak Road, Abids, Hyderabad-500 001. Tel : 00-91-040-4755216.

You'll also find sarees brought in from across India, like Kashmir, Bengal, Kanchipuram, Lucknow. An ordinary cotton saree can be purchased for anything between Rs.150 to above Rs.2,500 while silk sarees are priced between Rs.500 to Rs.10,000 and above. Handlooms are also widely available. sarees are available practically anywhere in Hyderabad.
