First, there are many species of every kind of fish. For example there will be MANY Telugu names that describe different kinds of anchovy. However in Hindi there may be no name for fish that aren't commonly eaten (English name will be used). Also, the kind of anchovy (or any fish) you eat in India would taste very different from the one you get in UK because of environmental differences. Here are some translations for you; assume if I didn't give a translation that there is no Hindi equivalent.
Anchovy - bindt in Hindi
Eel - called as vam in Marathi and Gujarati
Mackerel - bangadi in Hindi
Salmon - Ravas
Sardine - Charree addee
Sole - Gipti in Marathi and Gujarati
Tuna - something like bugudi or gedar in marathi/gujarati
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, it is really confusing with fish as there are hundreds of different varieties depending on climate and location-- there are many that may just not be a traditional part of Hindi language.
