Dear Priyadarshini,

You can use those belts if you like . But better still will be doing some yoga stretching exercises daily. It'll clear you fat deposits soon.

Whenever you get time you can do this stretching exercises. The only thing is that whenever you do yoga your stomach should be empty .That's all.

In the morning would be the best time for you. Get up from the bed with simple streching. As you stand put your hands up and stretch as much as you can. Slowly bend to the front and then to the back. Do that as much as you can. Then slowly rotate your arms ie first bend till your waist. then to the left and slowly to the bak and then to the right. It should be a smooth cycle.

I was doing this very regularly and I lost all the fat and tyres at the back.

Avoid fat and fried foods .No junk/fast foods. Have lots of water to drink. Eat vegetables and fruits as much as you can. Walk daily atleast for half an hour. Spend more calories than you eat. You'll lose weight and look young again. All the best

As much as we would all like to be able to lose unwanted weight in particular areas of our bodies, it is not possible to "spot reduce". In order to lose weight in any particular area, one must reduce overall body fat. Your genetic make-up determines where your body fat is stored. A sound program of cardiovascular activity for 20 - 30 minutes at an intensity within your target heart rate range, 3 - 5 days per week. Aerobic-type exercises (i.e., walking and cycling) will help to reduce unwanted body fat. Strength training 2 - 3 days per week and eating a nutritious, well-balanced diet, is the best way to shed unwanted body fat and maintain an appropriate body weight.

Fat stored around the love handles or stomach area can only be lost through proper diet and aerobic exercise. This type of exercise will help burn the fat directly and, over the course of time fat levels will reduce around the love handles as well as many other areas. In fact its quite possible to lose fat from the love handles and the general abdominal area without any exercise that directly stresses the abdominal muscles, fat may be stored around these areas but it does not mean we need to exercise those specific areas in order to lose it.

Apart from losing fat from the love handles it is important to tone and firm the area so the abdominal muscles show through clearly. The best exercise to help tone the love handles are side bends. These place direct stress on the external oblique muscles forcing them to tone and shape up. Side bends are done by standing straight with knees slightly bent and feet apart, then slowly lower the trunk a few inches to the left side then back again to do the right side. Try to keep the body and legs in line by not bending forwards or backwards.

Another great exercise to lose love handles is torso twists. The abdominals are composed of 3 layers of muscles which slide over each other, torso twists help tone the transverse abdominis muscle tightening the love handles. While standing firmly with feet shoulder width apart, the torso twists gently to the left side then to the right while at the same time trying to limit the movement from the hips. During the movements the torso should always remain upright, there should be no bending involved. Care should also be taken not to twist too far as its easy to pull a muscle when exercising the love handles!

Both exercises should ONLY be attempted with supervision from a qualified fitness instructor!

Hi!

I will not suggest belt for reducing fats. rather i will suggest dieting and aerobic exercise. All you can do is reduce your calorie-intake, increase your calorie-expenditure by increasing your exercise and let your body do the rest.

Bye

Many ladies focus on exercising a particular body part which is hidden by fatty tissue in an effort to "burn away" the localized fat and expose toned muscles. This is merely a vain attempt and won't amount to much more than "your little secret."Now a days so many instruments and devices are available in market for purchase and application, but I am not sure about how much such items will comply with your requirements. Since I hadn’t yet used such these things I an unable to comment about it. I think you mentioned here the word ‘back’ for butt. If it is right them I will suggest you some steps to burn fatness from that area. Genetics play a definite role in the shape of a person's body. Perform a variety of strength training exercises 3 or more days a week. This will increase your body's fat burning ability 24/7 and tone the underlying muscle giving you a better shape and improved muscle tone, which has a slimming effect. 2. Perform aerobic exercise for at least 20 minutes 2 times a week. 3. Replace sodium, sugar and preservative laden foods with fresh whole unprocessed foods. 4. Keep your diet balanced, eating a healthy ratio of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. And, keep in mind, calories do count. Eating too many calories - whether they are fats, carbohydrates or proteins, will keep you well padded. 5. Drink lots of water.

This has no effect. The money spent on buying the belt is actually waste.

There is nothing better than regular exercise.

Walk, swim or Jogging.

No other way.

Thanks.

No Priyadharshini, using belts is not a good idea.

The following exercises will surely help in reducing your problem spot

1)Stand with feet apart. Raise both the hands facing the cieling. Now arch back for about 30 to 50 degree and then come back to the starting position. This is one rep. Do 10 reps of 3 sets and gradually increase it to 6 sets. This will help you in reducing the lower back.

2)To cut down the flab below the arms and upper back, lie on the floor sideways, on the arms. Lift both legs not more than 4-5 inches. Do 10 reps. Then raise single leg in varying angles it could be 40, 50 or 60. Do 25 reps of 4-5 varying angles.

3)Stand with feet apart. Twist the top part of your body and touch your left side of the lower back with your right hand and left hand on the right side of your waist, but see that you dont move your legs. Do the same on other side. This is one rep. Do 10 reps of 4 sets. This will reduce your lower back.

4)Stand on your feet. Take 2 or 5kg weights on each hand. Lift both the hands sideways and stop when you come to the line of your ears, hold for 5 seconds and then lift the hands completely so that the hands are facing the cieling. Now get back to the starting position slowly. Do 8 reps of 8 sets. This will reduce the upper back and the flabby skin around the arms.

You can see good results in 2 weeks if you do these exercises daily.

Dear Priyadarshini,

There are three ways. First use belts as you said. 2. Start swimming. It won't reduce fat there directly, but indirectly support reducing the fat in the body.

3. There are some medicines available in the market for redicing the fat. Purchase (on the advise of a physician) and take them.

Hai Priya, Using the slimming belts regularly can have some effect to reduce the fat deposits in your back. Go for a branded one. Combining back exercise, yoga and diet along with the use of belt can produce enhanced results.

Doing Crunches and avoiding food after 7PM will remarkably reduce the deposition of fat in different parts of the body.
