There is No Tamil word for Celery. Even the Koyambedu Vegetable Merchants would refer to these European vegetables Such as Broccoli, Celery, Parsely by their English names with a Strong Tamil Accent. Only Brussel Sprouts is called as Kallakkose (miniature cabbage like vegetable)in Tamil

celery is nothing but kothimizhi thazhai... its a chiniese item...

resembles like corriander leaves.......
