Subject: how can i check the status for employee provident fund reimbursement?

how can i check the status for employee provident fund reimbursement? I have already filled all the form and submitted the same in my proevious office, at mumbai Maharashtra.

Are you saying about refund of your EPF . If you had already left your service where you have the facility of EPF then its for you to submit the required form filled by you and to get the signature and seal from your company authorities and to submit the same to the PF office. Your previous office’s/company’s role is upto put their signature and stamp in the same. If the form is has already been reached the PF office then you have to wait for the release of Cheque in your name within 30 days. Now days the rule is to settle any type of claims within 30days. For the same The member has to open an account in the nationalised bank, scheduled bank, urban bank or post office savings bank. He has to furnish the details of bank a/c no. with the full address of the bank in application form. An advance stamped receipt has also to be annexed in the form. he claims received complete in all respects are disposed off within a maximum period of 30 days from the date of receipt of claims in the office. In case the member is not hearing anything about his application within 30 days, he can approach the Public Relation Officer.

Dear ratish, In case your previous employer hold his accounts in Chennai, you can go to the website epfochennai.tn.nic.in or if otherplaces means go to the website epfindia.nic.in. you can clik KNOW YOUR CLAIM STATUS wherein you have to give your companys'codenumber,your pf account no and then you can able to know the present status.

Hi Ratish,

When you filed this reimbursement from the previous office, normally your PF will be sent in the form of a cheque to your previous office finance department, unless you have provided them with your sb account number and this takes approximately 1 month time. So inquire with your old office finance department.

Hi,

There is no reimbursement in epf. If you are currently working, then your previous pf amount will be transferred to your new account with current employer. If you are not in service, then your pf amount will be settled.

See Mr.Ratish Nair, Normally the refunded Money directly deposited to your Bank A/c No. mentioned in the PF Withdraw form after 2 month, It is the normal procedure
